My little God-daughter is receiving First Holy Communion this coming weekend. I am traveling north to be part of it. There is no gift any greater than receiving Christ for the first time. But, I wanted this occasion to be one that she remembers. So, I made something for her.

I always like a doll with some sort of underwear. Annabelle has a lovely camisole and bloomers.
This is her everyday jumper.
This is her fancy dress.
And this is her First Holy Communion dress.
I made Annabelle from an old Simplicity pattern. The First Communion dress I just made up as I went along.
