The communion of saints--the community of all the faithful of Christ, living and dead....
I have come to rely on the communion of saints to pray for me. St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, whose feast day in my birthday, was the first such saint to cause me to understand that she prays for me. I ask for her prayers everyday, because she is a powerful pray-er.
Heaven seems like such a homey place knowing that those saints are praying for me. And I love to ask my beloved dead to pray for me. I intend to spend my heaven praying for babies for people who want them just as I now do on earth.
