I'm going to the Lake of the O's to the librarian's conference. The last time I was at this conference was 2009. And while you may like to picture a bunch of pruny old ladies in buns, and we are more women than men, we are pretty media savvy folks. We play with technology. We use databases.
I like these people, these library people. We speak of inventory and check out and over dues and what one does when the computers go down and what we are thinking of for ebooks. We like to meet authors and read books.
At the conference I will get free stuff. I will get Ideas. I will meet people. I will eat and laugh and walk a bit. It should be fun at the Lake this year.
