How Is the Watermelon Quilt Coming Along?

I set it into a quilt top.  The watermelon fabric in the center of the squares is the backing fabric.  I had not intended to use the white strips, but it felt as though it needed something.  I didn't want to make it much bigger than that, so I used fabric about half the size of a square in white strips.  Then I dressed it up with a little watermelon square in the middle of the diamond.  It doesn't look as watermelon-y as I had pictured in my mind, but I think it is a sweet little quilt.
