My husband says that the title is too long for the name of a recipe and he never heard of anything like this recipe before. I maintain that it is nothing out of the ordinary, but just in case it is, here it is on my blog.
Which Came First, The Chicken or the Egg Salad
1 hard boiled egg chopped
1 cooked and cooled chicken breast, finely chopped
about 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
about 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
about 1 to 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
a little salt and pepper if you like
Mix ingredients together. If dry, add more mayo. Extras if you like could include chopped seedless grapes, walnuts, chopped onion, chopped celery and other such salad add ins. (Avocado or olives sound really good to me, for example.)
Serve on toast or bread or tortilla or on lettuce. Should feed 2 or 3 people.
We ate it too quickly to take pictures. And now it is an official recipe--Which Came First, The Chicken or the Egg Salad.
