The blog has been running on auto-pilot this week. I have been suffering from seasonal allergies. This spring has been particularly bad. Most springs the flowering trees start to bloom and then get frosted back which cuts down on the pollen. This year stayed cold and winter-y until recently. Suddenly all the trees and flowers are bursting forth in an explosion of pollen.
I know that one of the trees I am especially allergic to is the Bradford pear. Due to the stuffiness of my nose I lay awake far into the night. I half dream, half fantasize about going and buying the largest chain saw I could lift. Then I would drive about the state cutting down Bradford pear trees. Sort of a reverse Johnny Appleseed. Like an ax murderer, for trees.
