Thank You, Lord

Lord,

Thank You for waiting there at the church for me to visit You.  Thank You for speaking to my heart every time I come to spend time with You.  Thank You for the comfort and relief that is prayer.  Thank You for saving me and teaching me about love. Thank You for the gift of Your Holy Spirit.

Thank You for my brothers and sisters and their spouses and children and even grandchildren.  Thank You for the scallywags and the Prodigal daughters.  Thank You for my spouse and my son and the baby I sent to Heaven before I ever knew her.  Thank You for both my parents and for my mom's long, long life.

Thank You for all the care I have received this week in the form of doctors and dentists. Bless them for their service.  Make their work not be in vane.  Help me to use my gifts and talents to bring forth Your kingdom.
