Last Sunday I went to Lake of the Ozarks to the Missouri School Librarians Conference. It is a nice spring weekend/ early week trip. It is fun to gather with other people who talk databases and technology and Common Core. We really don't have sessions on overdues or the Dewey Decimal System or shushing as my brother suggested to me.
I enjoyed the comic artists of Unshelved.
I went to lots of banquets.
I met some authors. And took pictures of friends with them.
I had some views of the Lake.
I had a nice room without stairs to get to it, which had been the problem every other time I had been to this conference at this resort.
On the way home I pulled over in the state capitol and took a couple of pictures. I have toured the capitol when my son was in 8th grade.
All in all it was a very good time. But, great to go home again.

I like that there are two churches close to the capitol.
